If you’ve been following along for a while, you know my kitchen has clear glass pendants with Edison bulbs — and while they look great, they are honestly hard to keep clean. Every smudge and bit of dust shows up like it’s on display. So, I’ve been browsing for replacements, and one thing led to another, and now I have a list of nine vintage pendants I’m considering.

Whether you’re in the same boat or just love a good light fixture deep dive, here’s what’s been on my radar lately.
1. Set of Three 8″ Schoolhouse Pendant Lights
Love the simplicity of these, the opaque glass, and a great price point for three.
2. Milk Glass Pendant – 12″ Mid Century Modern
We used this in a historic house turned office space and it was the perfect choice. It’s definitely a statement piece with a vintage feel.
3. Milk Glass Dome Pendant – 2 Pack
Another great deal for the money and a leans a little more towards the mid century look.
4. Gold Schoolhouse 8″ Pendant Light
‘m a sucker for anything gold and this particular light fixture is an elevated option if you like the schoolhouse vibe. We used this over the kitchen sink for a small kitchen renovation and it worked great.
5. Modern Pendant Light with Milk White Glass
This simple vintage pendant comes in both antique brass and black and is adjustable up to 71 inches.
6. Mid Century Modern Schoolhouse Chandelier
This uniquely shaped design caught my eye as an alternative option if you lean a little more modern.
Love this pendant and we used it in the kitchen of The Queen Anne where it perfectly complimented the other vintage lighting in the spaces.
8. Modern Schoolhouse Pendant – Simple yet classic style with oval globe glass.
9. White Globe with Brass Accents – This classic pendant is both elegant and timeless. We used this style in another variation at Peronneau Place and it was the perfect pendant over the island.
