Begin your journey with my Reworked Floor Plan, the foundation of my design services. Whether you're looking to transform a single room or an entire floor, I specialize in making your home more functional and suited to your lifestyle. From moving walls to reconfiguring rooms, we'll maximize your existing space's potential.
If you have a historic home, we'll place a special emphasis on preserving the history and character of the house. This service is perfect for those who love blending modern living with the charm of historic homes. I take great pride in crafting layouts that not only meet your current needs but also respect the unique architectural elements of your house.
One 30-Minute Virtual 1:1 Consultation:
Meet virtually to discuss your project, share your vision, and outline your needs.
Receive a video of the first draft of your floor plan, where I walk you through the proposed changes, offer suggestions, and invite your feedback.
After reviewing the first draft, you have the opportunity for two edits or revisions before we finalize your floor plan.
- One-dimensional floor plan with precise measurements.
- Before and after comparisons for clarity.
- Breakdown of individual spaces and features (doors, windows, etc.). These documents will assist you and your contractors with the changes to your floor plan.

In this step, we'll bring your new floor plan to life with 3-D renderings and a virtual tour. These visual tools help you envision how your space will look and feel, and your renovation guide will walk you through the process.
RENOVATION GUIDE:
This comprehensive, multi-page document includes several images of the 3-D renderings, organized by space. It offers brief descriptions of the work scope for each area, measurements when relevant, and additional tips to help you bring your new vision to life. Consider this your personalized guide for renovating each space.
Experience a virtual walkthrough of your space via a screen recording, highlighting the individual areas and tips mentioned in your Renovation Guide. This feature provides a deeper understanding of the layout and design elements.
Your final products will be available through a private Dropbox link, allowing you to download or access them at any time.

Personalized Design Plan

This service is perfect for those who need guidance in selecting design elements such as paint colors, fixtures, tile, flooring, cabinetry finishes, and countertops.

Collaborate and share ideas to create a cohesive vision for your space.
Discuss your style preferences and review your shared Pinterest board with me to ensure your vision is clearly understood.

Each service builds on the previous, starting with Step One, the Reworked Floor Plan. If a floor plan is all you need, great! If you need more, next add the Renovation Guide with 3-D Renderings & Virtual Tour. And last but not least, if you need help with the design details, add the Personalized Design Plan.
So for example, you can purchase Step One, Steps One + Two, or Steps One + Two + Three, but not just Step Three.
Fill Out the Design Questionnaire
When you're ready, click on the link below and fill out the Questionnaire. Be sure to fill out all required fields so that we can firm up your quote based on your specific needs.
Proposal = Quote, Contract, Deposit, and Schedule 1:1
After your questionnaire has been received you'll receive a proposal with a custom quote for your review. If the quote looks good, you can go ahead and sign the contract and pay your 50% deposit to officially get on the schedule and finish up by scheduling your 1:1 consult.
You'll also learn more details including when we can get you on the schedule and what will be required of you, such as providing a rough sketch of your rooms with dimensions. But don't worry! We'll walk you through it.

Reworked Floor Plan
This is a one-dimensional floor plan with measurements and accompanying notes.
Working within the existing square footage, we will rework the existing floor plan to make it more functional for the way you live. Nothing is off the table - switching rooms, relocating doors and windows - so the possibilities are endless. This is my favorite type of transformation, especially for a historic home. I love being able to transform the lay-out of a home to work for today's style of living while at the same time preserving the history and character of the house.

Our design services are set up in steps, starting with the Reworked Floor Plan, which all clients need. If that's all you need to get started, great!
If you need more detailed instructions to guide you through the changes on your floor plan and are a visual person, we suggest adding step two, the Renovation Guide with 3-D Renderings and a Visual Tour. This helps to bring the floor plan to life and is a great tool to envision how your spaces will look and feel.
If you have a hard time selecting design elements like paint colors, fixtures, or tile, Heather can put together a Personalized Design Plan to help you. This will include two recommendations for each design element with affiliate links for easy purchasing.
Each step builds off of the previous one so choose which steps would help you most.
When you receive your quote you will also receive detailed instructions as to what will be required from you. Once the quote has been accepted and a contract has been signed, you will receive further instructions outlining what we will need from you. For example, you will be required to provide a sketch of your space(s) including taking measurements, and a list of your wants, needs, and problem areas. If you purchase a Design Plan, we'll want to know more about your design style and have you set up a shared design board on Pinterest and start pinning.
If you do not feel comfortable taking your own measurements be sure to check that box in your questionnaire and we can include that additional service to your quote. Please note this is only available to clients within Spartanburg County.
