Love them or hate them, we can't live without them.  Like literally,  the world needs contractors to keep it running.  And so does your home.  So that means you do too.

Part of my job I love the most is working with contractors.  They're my kind of people.  But the truth is they can be a strange breed at times and let's just say communication isn't something most typically do well. Most. They're also misunderstood.  Generally speaking, they don't want to let anyone down and when the calls for their help exceed the amount of time they have in the day, added to the fact that many are small businesses with little to no administrative help, all of that adds up to being hard to get a call back from or to get on their schedule.

Allow me to help you out.

This series provides you first with tips on How to Find a Contractor and then walks you through best practices on How to Prepare for Your Renovation.  Since it's very likely that you will have specific questions, feel free to schedule a 1:1 Consultation at any time.

In late spring of 2024, the culmination of all that I know about Working With Contractors will be packaged together for you in an online course.  Get on the waiting list to be the first to know when it's available.
